PURPOSE: Provided is a reactor for polymerase chain reaction, thereby preventing the evaporation of a sample during PCR and consequently amplifying nucleic acids effectively with maintaining the concentration of samples. CONSTITUTION: The reactor comprises a module part(10) with holding grooves(20) to hold several polymerizing plates for keeping samples, also equipped with an inlet(22) and an outlet(34) of the gas; a main body(60) with the above module at the upper part; an upper case(70) covering the upper part of the above module with a pressure level controller controlling the pressure inside; a gas injection tank(50) to put the pressurized gas selected from argon, helium, carbon dioxide or oxygen into the upper case; and a gasket sealing(65a, 65b) the interior of the upper case at either upper side of the above module(10) or bottom side of the above upper case(70).
