PURPOSE: A bypass valve of a radiator is provided to let the cooling water flow smoothly by changing a cooling water path depending on the pressure of the cooling water, to prevent a hose from being deformed due to pressure difference, and to improve the durability of an engine by avoiding the cavitation due to pressure difference. CONSTITUTION: A bypass valve of a radiator comprises a bypass hole(32) formed by a penetrated plate(31) to divide the middle part of a head tank(21) into an upper and a lower parts, a guide(36) fixed on a support(35) protruded onto the plate and lengthwise extended to the lower portion of the plate, and a valve(33) axially inserted into the guide and elastically supported on a spring(34) to open and close the bypass hole. If the pressure difference between the cooling water flowing into a radiator and the cooling water flowing out of the radiator is excessive, the valve is opened to bypass a portion of the cooling water flowing in from an upper hose to a lower hose. Therefore, the pressure of the cooling water is kept uniform.
