A flow sensor (6)-mounted circuit board (8) is housed in a recess (7) provided at the under surface of a mouse case (2). A mouse (1), when moved, relatively produces an air flow by means of inertia or the like of air. An air-flow velocity on this occasion is detected by the flow sensor (6) to detect the movement of the mouse (1).
