A header 20 for a combine harvester 10 and an adaptor 17 for mounting the header to the feed housing 13 of the combine harvester, said header having a feed outlet opening 28 and a main 5 header beam 21 above said feed outlet opening extending over a substantial part of the full length of the header and said adaptor having a feed inlet opening adapted to allow feed to pass therethrough from said feed outlet opening to said feeder housing and a header support beam 32 above said feed inlet opening, said o main header beam and said header support beam having complementary mounting means 36, 37 adapted to allow limited pivotal movement of said main header beam relative to said header support beam about a first pivot axis extending substantially in the direction of travel of the combine harvester and a second 5 pivot axis extending substantially transverse to the direction of travel. |
