<p>A method for map information providing service, comprising the steps (S701, S702, S703) of receiving area information requested by a client and dividing the area into a plurality of sub-areas, a step (S704) of generating a plurality of subsections of map information involving the divided plurality of sub-areas, and a step (S705) of transmitting the plurality of subsections of map information in a preset order and a time-divided manner. The plurality of subsections of map information transmitted to a client in a preset order and a time-divided manner allows client-requested map information to be provided on a screen size-limited portable phone or portable terminal for easy viewing by a client.</p> |
