<p>A radiotelephone device receiving network information (Fig. 4) receives a mode for exchange of acknowledgement information determined and transmitted from a network acknowledgement module (steps 300 and 302). The radiotelephone transmits the acknowledgement information with to the network through a main dedicated control channel (step 304) in response to the mode information. Otherwise the radiotelephone device transmits acknowledgement using a temporary block flow acknowledgement interchange in response to the mode being other than the main dedicated control channel (step 308, 310, and 312).</p> |
