The arrangement has a holding plate and a pressure plate for feeding palettes and guide plates. A control frame linearly movable in a base frame has linearly movable guide bolts. A state can be reproduced between the palette and control frame by the guide bolts. The base frame has linearly movable cutting units drivable so their blades are inserted into gaps between the top and transverse boards or between the transverse boards and blocks. The arrangement is contained in a base frame with an upper holding plate (3) and a lower pressure plate (2) for feeding palettes (1), each with guide plates (4-6). A control frame (32) is linearly movable in the base frame and contains linearly movable guide bolts (7). The base frame contains linearly movable cutting units (12). A reproducible state can be created between the palette and control frame by means of the guide bolts, from which the cutting units can be driven so their blades (10) are inserted into the gaps between the top and transverse boards or between the transverse boards and the blocks. Independent claims are also included for the following: a method of selective removal of defective wooden palettes.
