PROPHYLACTIC COMPOSITION FOR IATROGENESIS CAUSED BY CORTICOSTEROIDS

PURPOSE: Provided is a prophylactic composition for iatrogenesis caused by corticosteroids. It contains corticosteroids, conjugated linolic acid(CLA), selenium, a complex of fat soluble vitamins A, D and E or their mixture. CONSTITUTION: The prophylactic composition contains 0.5-15mg/kg/day of corticosteroids and 10-400mg/kg/day of CLA as pharmaceutically active ingredients and has a prevention effect on iatrogenesis caused by administrating corticosteroids. It further contains selenium, a complex of vitamin A, D and E to enhance immunity. The composition can be formulated into a tablets, capsules, granules, injection and liquid by mixing with pharmaceutically acceptable excipient such as dextrin or lactose.
