PURPOSE: An Internet phone matching control device is provided to use general telephones as Internet telephones without additional equipment and the knowledge of personal computers. CONSTITUTION: A subscriber line controller(5) controls a PSTN subscriber line to operate a general telephone as the general telephone is connected to a PSTN network in case that the general telephone is operated as an Internet phone and is connected to a personal computer. The subscriber line controller(5) digitalizes analog voice signals of a subscriber to transmit the digitalized signals to the computer, and receives digital voice signal data from the computer and converts into the analog signals for transmitting to the general telephone through a subscriber line. A DTMF tone sensor(6) senses a key signal after the user hooks off, and senses key information to determine whether the general telephone is connected to the Internet phone or to the PSTN network. A processor(3) initializes and controls the subscriber line controller(5), senses valid DTMF tones in the DTMF tone sensor, controls send/receive signals of voice signals, and controls a path by controlling a relay(7) to connect the general telephone to the PSTN subscriber line or the personal computer according to the selection of the user.
