PURPOSE: A heat storage member of a heat storage type electric boiler is provided to heat a heat storage brick at the high temperature in a short time period by installing an electric heater in an inner space portion of the heat storage brick. CONSTITUTION: A heat storage member is installed in a boiler container(1) and a heat exchanging chamber(2) is positioned below the heat storage member. A heat exchanger(3) and a blower(4) are accommodated in the heat exchanging chamber(2). A water returning pipe(5) and a water supplying pipe(6) are connected to the heat exchanger(3). The heat storage member includes a rectangular outer container(11), a heat storage section(12) having a plurality of heat storage bricks(12a), and a circulating space section(13). The outer container(11) has a front plate(11a) formed with a plurality of perforation holes(15), an upper plate(11b), lateral plates(11c) and a rear plate(11d). A reflection surface is formed at the upper plate(11b), lateral plates(11c) and rear plate(11d).
