PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless communication system where a slave unit receiving a rejection message from a master unit can easily recognize which slave unit is in use and why the slave unit itself cannot be connected when the slave unit transmits a link channel setup request to the master unit while wireless 2-channel (64 kbps) communication is made between the master unit and other slave unit. SOLUTION: When a slave unit 3 sends a link channel assignment request to the master unit 1 while the master unit 1 makes communication with a slave unit 2 by using two wireless channels, the master unit 1 transmits the request reject message to the slave unit 3 to inform the slave unit 3 about a reject reason in the message by defining an extension number of the slave unit making communication with the master unit and its connection communication speed to the reason. The slave unit 3 displays the reject reason on a display section. Furthermore, when the master unit receives again the link channel assignment request from the slave unit 3, the master unit interrupts a 2nd wireless channel being one of the communication channels with the, slave unit 2, maintains 32 kbps communication with the slave unit 1 through the 1st wireless channel, and transmits link channel assignment by the 2nd wireless channel to the slave unit 3 so as to realize the 2nd wireless channel for 32 kbps communication. |
