A packaging bag for semiconductor wafer (1) for packaging a shipping container having semiconductor wafers stored therein, characterized in that a handle (4) is attached to the bag, wherein the handle should desirably be formed of the fused part (2) of the packaging bag and holes (3) opened in the fused part and, particularly, a plurality of circular or elliptic holes should be provided therein, whereby even a very heavy shipping container having wafers of large diameter stored therein can be stored into and retrieved from an external box, and a workability can be increased.
