PURPOSE: An information distributing method, an information receiving method, an information distribution system, an information distribution apparatus, a reception terminal, and a storage medium are provided to acquire complete contents in a short time at a low cost even by including a large quantity of data. CONSTITUTION: A content distributing station(100) distributes the signal distribution of a music content(150), and provides data of a missing(lacking) part which the user failed to take during the data reception on the move in response to the request from a reception terminal side. A broadcast satellite(120) broadcasts the music content(150) from the content distributing station(100) to a mobile unit(110). A ground station(130) transmits the music content data to the broadcast satellite(120). A cellular phone(140) makes the request(160) from the mobile unit(110) for the missing part of the music content(150), that is, the lacking portion of the music content(150), and for receiving a differential content(170) transmitted from the content distributing station(100) in response to the request(160) as to the lacking portion of the music content(150).
