PURPOSE: A stand of a musical instrument is provided to reduce the volume by manufacturing and handling the musical instrument stand easily and conveniently by arranging the hinge unit with simple structure, and to fix the musical instrument firmly by using the fixing member. CONSTITUTION: A stand for a musical instrument has a frame(13) with two longitudinal supports(14,15) extending in parallel and defining the support surface for a body(11) of a guitar. An upper support bar(18) is attached to the frame to receive a neck(12) of the guitar. The upper support extends parallel to the longitudinal supports. The longitudinal supports are connected together at one end. The upper support bar is placed out of two supports. The inner support is spaced from the outer support with 8-40 cm. A hinge unit turns the outer support around a rotating shaft arranged in parallel to the support.
