PURPOSE: A touch screen type data input device is provided to reduce electric consumption and be able to be carried conveniently by forming a touch screen type keyboard into a small and thin design. CONSTITUTION: The keyboard(10) consists of a small touch panel being printed a key arrangement as same a conventional keyboard, and a touch film detecting the input of the touch pen(20a,20b) and covering the touch panel. A wire type connector consists of a data communication port at a certain position of the keyboard in order to be connected to a portable terminal through a communication cable and a wireless type connector consists of a wireless communication port at a certain position of the keyboard in order to enable a wireless data transmission to be possible. If a user presses the desired key by the two touch pen in order to input data to the portable terminal, the data transmits to the portable terminal through the connector. At the moment, the position information of the key input transmits to the portable terminal and the portable terminal recognizes the inputted key on the basis of the position information. The conventional typing using a shift key is enabled by using two touch pen. |
