PURPOSE: A service registration and execution method in a private branch exchange is provided to improve service quality for incoming calls by changing service types by time periods. CONSTITUTION: An operator classifies general directory numbers and service information by time periods(S101) and registers them in a PBX(Private Branch eXchange)(S102). If incoming calls are inputted to a general directory number, the PBX confirms the present time and analyzes the service type of a time period corresponding to the present time(S104). In case that the analyzed service type is a uniform call distribution service, the PBX analyzes a plurality of subscribers registered in a group allocated to the general directory number, the PBX makes incoming calls uniformly distributed to the analyzed subscribers(S106).
