FABRIC CARE COMPOSITION

Polymers which are capable of self-cross-linking and/or of reacting with cellulose can be used in the treatment of fabric comprising cellulosic fibre s to enhance the feeling of comfort when a garment comprising the fabric is worn. The enhanced feeling of comfort is due, at least in part, to an increa se in the rate of moisture transport through the fabric. The polymers may be us ed in conjunction with a liquid or soft solid derivative of a cyclic polyol or of a reduced saccharide resulting from 35 to 100% of the hydroxyl groups in the polyol or the saccharide being esterified or etherified.
