摘要 A shift catalyst includes Pt supported on a porous body of TiO2 to which a predetermined oxide is added. The predetermined oxide added is at least one oxide of oxides of Al, Si, P, S and V. The addition of the oxide can be accomplished by mixing a raw material gel of the oxide during a process of forming a powder of TiO2, or it can be accomplished by impregnating a porous body of TiO2 with a nitrate salt solution of the oxide or the like. The amount of Pt supported is preferably about 0.1 to about 20 wt. %. The amount of the oxide added is preferably about 15 wt. % or less. The catalyst containing the oxide exhibits a high CO reduction rate. Furthermore, the catalyst reduces the capability deterioration under a high-SV condition, and also has heat resistance.
