<p>An air refining device, comprising an ion generator capable of generating positive and negative ions by applying an AC voltage to an electrode, wherein, when the ions simultaneously mixed in a space adhere onto the surfaces of the bacteria in the air, the positive and negative ions chemically react with each other to produce hydroxyl group radicals and hydrogen peroxide as active species so as to extract hydrogen atoms from the cells of the bacteria for sterilization, whereby the bactericidal effect brings about a comfortable and healthy indoor environment in combination with the temperature regulating function, dehumidifying function, humidifying function, and air cleaning function of the air refining device.</p> |
