PURPOSE: A beam indexing tube is provided to use an electron beam tubes having diameter as large as possible. CONSTITUTION: A cathode-ray tube comprises a color image screen(2), an electron gun(6) for radiating at least one of the electron beam tubes(7,8,9), a deflection device(5), a receiving device for receiving a signal produced by the conductive tracks, and a transferring device for carrying a correction signal to the deflection device. The color image screen(2) includes a front plate(10) and a fluorescence layer(11) provided on a first set of a conductive tracks and a second set of the conductive tracks. The position of the electron beam tubes(7,8,9) is measured by arranging the conductor tracks at the bottom of each phosphor strip. The electron beam tubes(7,8,9) having a large diameter can be used by covering the conductor tracks partially by an electric insulating layer.
