PURPOSE: An AOM(Add On Module) for keyphone is provided to offer a key matrix structure that works together with the LEDs of a keyphone and a key contact circuit through a connector to connect with the keyphone. CONSTITUTION: Latches(42,44) and DET elements(46,48) are installed in a basic keyphone system, and only LEDs and a key contact circuit in the inside of dotted circles are installed in an AOM. Accordingly, the manufacturing cost of the AOM can be saved. At this moment, as the latches(42,44) and the DET circuit are installed in the basic keyphone system, an additional cost is not required. Also the LEDs and the key contact circuit, designed to be extensible, are worked together with the AOM.
