A wire-wound coil has a bobbin and at least two winding layers, in which the first winding layer is helically wound in a first axial direction from the starting point of the first winding layer to an end point of the first winding layer, around the bobbin. The winding wire extends from the first winding layer in the direction of the starting side/face of the first winding layer at a given angle to an imaginary diagonal to the starting point of the first winding layer and the end point of the first winding layer. The second winding layer is helically wound in a direction opposed to the first axial direction from its starting point up to an end point of the second winding layer around the first winding layer, in which the radial winding direction of both windings is the same.
