<p>An improved method for drilling a multi-lateral well (6) from an existing well-bore (3) whereby the amount of under-reaming of the borehole required to drill the multi-lateral well (6) is reduced and the diameter of the lateral well (6) is substantially the diameter of the existing well-bore (3). The method utilizing a substance to substantially fill and seal the well-bore (3) about the junction (6) of the multi-lateral well (6).</p> |
