<p>A method of installing a door of a car, comprising the steps of determining the installation positions of the door side hinge arms (2) of doors (Df, Dr) beforehand, adjusting, in door temporary fixing processes (b, c) before painting, the positions of hinge positioning and holding means (30fa, 30fb; 30ra, 30rb) of a door hinge assembly jig (J) set at a specified position of a car body (B), allowing for the adjusting amount for installation correction of an inclination caused by the self-weight of the doors (Df, Dr) when the doors (Df, Dr) are installed on the car body (B) in a door final installation process (g) after painting, and installing body side hinge arms (1) of door hinges (Hfa, Hfb; Hra, Hrb) held on the hinge positioning and holding means (30fa, 30fb; 30ra, 30rb) on the car body (B), whereby the final installation of the doors can be performed accurately without correcting the installation of the doors after installation.</p> |
