DEVICE FOR PRODUCING ELECTROSTATIC LATENT IMAGE BY ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHY

PURPOSE: A device for producing an electrostatic latent image by the electrophotography is provided to reduce the size of a printer by adopting compact structure using an electrode instead of complex optical components and to promptly and conveniently produce an electrostatic latent image. CONSTITUTION: A holder(110) is installed on a photosensitive drum(100). Flexible conductive electrodes(120) are installed on the holder. One ends of the electrodes contact to the surface of the photosensitive drum and selectively ground via a ground line passing through a control unit(130). The holder is supported on a frame(150) via an electric piece(140). Local charge change occurs by the electrical action of the electrode selected by the control unit and the surface charge of the photosensitive drum. An electrostatic latent image is formed by the electric potential difference between the electrodes. Since electrostatic latent images are simultaneously formed by the electrodes, work speed is improved.
