PURPOSE: A reinforce glass fixing structure of a CRT panel is provided to enhance explosionproof characteristic of an explosionproof glass by adding an adhesive component into a resin for attaching the explosionproof glass to the panel. CONSTITUTION: A reinforce glass for explosionproof is fixed on a panel by a resin material. The resin material is transparent and has excellent light transmission characteristic. The viscosity of the resin material is low enough to prevent blowholes or alien substances during injection. An adhesive is added to the resin by 0.1-5%. The adhesive is selected from aliphatic poly urethane, such as cyclohexanol poly urethane, cycloheptan poly urethane and cyclohexandiol poly urethane. The modulus of the adhesive added resin is about more than 15 strain at 50 mN/m. The thickness of the resin material is thicker than 0.75 mm so that cracks are less than 40.
