The method involves making a connection between the chambers (3,4) by at least partially destroying a separating element (2) or destroying a connection between the housing (1) and the separating element, then finally feeding away the pressure storage medium passing from the first chamber (3) to the second (4) and if appropriate the pressure medium from the second chamber. Independent claims are also included for the following: a pressurized medium reservoir with a first chamber for the pressure storage medium and a separate second chamber for a pressure medium connected to a pressure system.
