RING ROLL REPLACING METHOD IN BAR STEEL ROLLING MILL AND DEVICE THEREFOR

An easy ring roll replacing method in a bar steel rolling mill and a device therefor, the method using an optimal process of replacing a ring roll without disassembling a housing. A ring roll replacing method, in a bar steel rolling mill having a plurality of roll assemblies incorporated in a housing equiangularly in a circumferential direction, comprising the steps of freeing the tight-fitting between a used ring roll and a roll shaft, moving the roll shaft axially to pull it off the used ring roll, replacing the used ring roll with a new one in the housing, thrusting the roll shaft through the new ring roll, and coupling them together by tight-fitting. In addition, provided are a bar steel rolling mill body and a roll shaft hoisting device both having mechanisms suitable for this method.
