<p>Force measuring apparatus (10) that includes a platform (11) and a base (15) for supporting the platform above a supporting surface at only three spaced-apart points. The platform (11) consists of first and second working portions (25, 26). The first working portion (25) has a first area (25A) and the second working portion (26) has a second area (26A). The first area (25A) is larger than the second area (26A). The first area (25A) is limited to accommodate only on-line stance. The first and second areas (25A, 26A) together are limited to accommodate only an in-line stance. The force measuring apparatus (11) incorporates sensor apparatus (38) for sensing loads exerted against the first and second areas.</p> |
