PURPOSE: A method and a system for managing the knowledge of an organization are provided to systematically manage the knowledge of an organization and to simultaneously obtain a method for goal accomplishment and factual knowledge by modeling the relation between methodical knowledge and factual knowledge in a matrix structure. CONSTITUTION: The system comprises terminals(10,11,12) connected with a network(20), a web server(30) connected with the network, a log-in processor(40) connected with the web server to allow a user to access to the web server, a methodical/factual knowledge processor(50) including a knowledge user module(51), a knowledge master module(52), and a knowledge manager module(53), and a database server(60) including a knowledge database(61), a user database(62), and a knowledge use information database(63). The knowledge master and knowledge manager store methodical and factual knowledge of an organization in the knowledge database, write a methodical knowledge/factual knowledge matrix, and store the knowledge by registration. The knowledge users connect to the web server via the user terminal(10) and apply for new knowledge registration. The reward points are provided to the users and stored in the knowledge use information database as a mileage.
