PURPOSE: A sound advertisement server system and a sound advertising method thereof are provided to transmit sound advertisement files transmitted and executed smoothly under various Internet connection environments of client terminals. CONSTITUTION: A sound advertisement server system consists of a server part(20), a sound advertisement database(21), an image advertisement database(22), and a web page database(23). The sound advertisement database(21) stores sound advertisement files. The image advertisement database(22) stores an image advertisement corresponding to each sound advertisement stored in the sound advertisement database(21). The web page database(23) stores source pages for web pages. The server part(20) comprises an operating system detection part(201), a speed detection part(202), and an advertisement extraction part(203). The operating system detection part(201) extracts information about the operation system of each client terminal from a web page request header transferred from each client terminal. The speed detection part(202) transmits a packet to each client terminal, measures the mean response speed for the packet, and estimates which Internet network each client terminal is connected with. Based on each client terminal's operating system and Internet communication speed respectively detected by the operating system detection part(201) and the speed detection part(202), the advertisement extraction part(203) extracts a sound advertisement file from the sound advertisement database(21) according to a request from an advertisement file request module and transmits it to each client terminal.
