X-RAY SENSOR AND METHOD OF DRIVING THE SAME

PURPOSE: An X-ray sensor and a method of driving the sensor are provided to reduce manufacturing cost of the sensor and shorten compensation time of a video signal. CONSTITUTION: An X-ray sensor includes an X-ray sensing cell array panel(10), an X-ray shielding part(31), an average circuit(32), and a compensator(30). The X-ray sensing cell array panel is constructed in a manner that a plurality of X-ray sensing cells are arranged in a matrix form and generates the first pixel signal according to an X-ray. The X-ray sealing part is shielded from being exposed to the X-ray. The average circuit averages the second pixel signal generated by the X-ray shielding part to generate the third pixel signal. The compensator compensates for the first pixel signal using the third pixel signal.
