PURPOSE: A portable phone having a function of detecting a stealthy camera and a wiretap is provided to receive and detect frequency of signals generated from the stealthy camera or the wiretap by adding a simple circuit to the portable telephone, thereby protecting a persons privacy from being invaded and monitoring a leakage of information. CONSTITUTION: A splitter(40) splits a signal received through an antenna into a signal of frequency band of a portable phone and a signal of frequency band of a stealthy camera and a wiretap. A receiving part(50) is combined with the splitter(40) for receiving and detecting the signal of frequency band of the stealthy camera and the wiretap. A signal-strength detecting part(60) is combined with the receiving part(50) for detecting strength of the signal outputted from the receiving part(50). Based on the detected signal strength, a control part(20) outputs a control signal notifying that the stealthy camera or the wiretap is installed. According to the control signal, alarm parts(24,28) alarm to a user that the stealthy camera or the wiretap is installed.
