A game machine is provided with a display device 4 having a display screen 4a on which targets are to be displayed, a play surface forming member 3a to be laid on a floor 101 in front of the display screen 4a for placing a ball 1 to be kicked thereon, a sheet 5 as a ball receiver provided in a position between the display screen 4a of the display device 4 and the play surface forming member 3a and in vicinity of the display screen 4a and enabling the display screen 4a to be seen, a detecting means (sensors 20, 23) for detecting a moving state of the kicked ball 1, and an evaluating means for evaluating a result relating to a ball-kicking motion based on a detection result of the detecting means. Since positions at which the game player aims with the flying element such as a ball can be made variable in this game machine, a game can be made more enjoyable.
