PURPOSE: A fingerprint recognition terminal system is provided to add a fingerprint read part to a POS(Point Of Sale) terminal so that a user can access the POS terminal without an ID card. CONSTITUTION: A POS fingerprint recognition terminal(104) is provided with a display window(101), an ID card reader(102), an Internet line access cable connection slot, an input key(105a), a receipt output part(106), a touch screen monitor(107), and a fingerprint read part(108). The POS fingerprint recognition terminal(104) is connected with a host(109) through the Internet line access cable connection slot. The fingerprint read part(108), composed of a prism, an LED and a CCD, illuminates lights to a fingerprint placed on the prism, dissolves an image reflected through the prism, and converts the lights into an electric signal. The fingerprint recognition signal, or the converted electric signal, is transmitted to the D/B of a host(109) through the CPU of the fingerprint read part(108). The host(109) compares the fingerprint recognition signal with a previously registered fingerprint signal, fetches customized goods information or a customized advertisement from the D/B in case that the two signals are matched, and outputs it on the screen of the touch screen monitor(107).
