The saw has a cutting device (90) with a turning annular carrier body (50) and several cutting bodies (71) forming part of an endless-belt or endless-wire cutting tool (70) acting with an annular recess (51) in the carrier body. The tool cannot spring out of this recess because it acts with a tension-creating device (60). This includes a roller (61) with annular recess (64) to assist in the guidance of the cutting tool.
