PURPOSE: A method for managing a database managing system in a mobile communication switching system is provided to check an error and measure reliability of a database by loading a DBMS instruction which was inputted and controlled in an operator terminal in a processor and processing the DBMS instruction. CONSTITUTION: A DBMS managing program is loaded in a specific local processor which stores subscriber information from an operation/preservation processor. It is judged whether the inputted instruction is one out of DBMS managing instructions of a search, an update, a deletion, an insertion, a calculation of the number, an insertion of a large quantity subscribers, and a deletion of a large quantity subscribers(ST1,ST2). A search function, an update function, a deletion function, an insertion function, a calculation function of the number, an insertion function of a large quantity subscribers, and a deletion function of a large quantity subscribers with respect to the DBMS are performed according to the instructions, and the functions of the DBMS are checked(ST3-ST9).
