PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire mold capable of suppressing a number of components to a minimum limit by one spirally wound heat pipe per a half mold by obtaining satisfactory uniformity around a centerline of a mold axial direction so that all heat pipes on a surface of the heat pipe of a suitable size fall within a temperature range of 2 to 3 degrees and reducing probability of a fault by improving heating of tread and sidewall forming surfaces. SOLUTION: The substantially cylindrical tire mold having a radial inner tread forming surface comprises a tube extended from an opening in the mold to a heating position adjacent to the tread forming surface, and a heat pipe means disposed in the tube to selectively transfer a heat to the tire mold at a heating position.
