PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a decorative sheet, and the decorateive sheet manufactured by the method, wherein the decorative sheet of the same pattern can easily be mass-produced, abounds in flexibility and has a wide use property, and further even in the case where an interval is provided between entwined sliced veneer raw materials, the entwined sliced veneer can sufficiently be bonded to a substrate. SOLUTION: A material (8) for peeling is applied to the uneven surface of a bed plate (7) having an irregularity on the surface, the material for peeling at the tip of a projected part (702) of the uneven surface is taken off, and an entwined sliced veneer (2) is formed on the surface of the bed plate (7) by entwining a plurality of elongate sliced veneer raw materials (4 and 5) equipped with an adhesive means (6) on a rear surface into an optional pattern. The entwined sliced veneer (2) is peeled off from the bed plate (7), and the substrate (3) is bonded to the rear surface of the peeled entwined sliced veneer (2) to manufacture the decorative sheet.
