PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an impact hulling and oscillation separator which is great in treating ability and high in separating accuracy and may be inexpensively provided. SOLUTION: The impact hulling and oscillation separator 10 comprises and impact hulling section 10A and a shaking separating section 10B. The impact hulling section 10A radially releases paddy M by rotary vanes 18 and hulls the paddy by impact force. The shaking separating section 10B separates unpolished rice G, mixed rice K and the paddy M by shaking. The paddy M separated within the shaking separating section 10B falls from a paddy return port 84 and is directly returned through a paddy return trough 90 to a supply port 14 of the impact hulling section 10A. Accordingly, the need for special apparatus (screw conveyor, paddy return thrower, etc.), for returning the paddy M to the hulling segment is eliminated and eventually the number of parts is decreased and the cost over the entire part is reduced.
