PRESS WORKING METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR METALLIC PLATE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new press working method and apparatus for metallic plate capable of securing certain degree of shear plane on a cutting surface and requiring no deburring process. SOLUTION: A press working method for a metallic plate comprises a half blanking and pressing process which forms an abutting region W1 on the metallic plate W by pressing the metallic plate W in the wall thickness direction of the metallic plate W by a No.1 die 1 provided with a through hole 1b and a No.1 punch 2 placed in the opposite direction sandwiching the metallic plate W and following the half blanking and pressing process, a blanking and pressing process to blank the abutting region W1 by pressing the abutting region W1 in the opposite direction of the abutting region W1 by a No.2 die 11 provided with the through hole 11a and a No.2 punch 12 placed in the opposite direction sandwiching the metallic plate W and the No.2 punch used in the blanking and pressing process is provided with the No.1 pressing surface 12a to press the abutting region W1 and the No.2 pressing surface 12c to press burrs formed on the metallic plate W through the half blanking and pressing process.
