PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a forming method of the hair part of a Japanese doll to give good finish and natural appearance and a structure of the hair part to enable a rigid and stable connection by adhesion. SOLUTION: This forming method of the hair part of a Japanese doll is constituted of combining a base part formed of an inner vertical hollow part with an opening on the upper side surrounded by a higher wall part and a lower wall part with different height and a hair form part 2, covering the hair form part 2 with hair strings 11 adhered to the base part, and connecting the hair form part 2 and the face part. The method comprises a first process in which the tip ends of the hair strings 11 inserted into the inner vertical hollow part from the upper opening are adhered respectively dispersed to respective inner periphery face of the higher wall part and the lower wall part and a second process in which the hair strings 11 are placed on the surface side of the hair form part from the periphery of the face part starting from the adhered positions of the tip end parts of the hair strings 11 on respective inner periphery face of the higher wall part and the lower wall part to cover the hair form part by the hair strings.
