PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide control box fitting structure for an electric wheelchair which facilitates attaching and detaching of a control box by simple constitution without damaging the appearance of the control box. SOLUTION: In the electric wheelchair provided with a sitting seat 3 nearly horizontally over a chassis frame 2, mounted with a driving motor 20 and a battery 4 under the seat 3 and provided with the control box 7 for controlling traveling of the wheelchair, the box 7 is provided with fitting brackets 21 and 22 for holding the box 7 to the chassis frame at its outer peripheral end part and is arranged under the seat 3 via the brackets 21 and 22 which are fitted to the box 7 attachably and detachably with a fastening part bolt.
