BAND FEEDING APPARATUS AND METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify an apparatus and enhance workability in a band feeding apparatus and a method. SOLUTION: A main moving body 23 movable along the axial direction of a band molding drum 13 and a shaping drum 14 is loaded with a magnet holder 30 capable of holding the central part of a band A and a pair of sub- moving bodies 26 and 27 freely movable in the same direction are provided before and behind the moving direction of the main moving body 23. The sub- moving bodies 26 and 27 are loaded with band holders 44 and 45 capable of holding the end part of the band A and a pair of bead setters 46 and 47 capable holding beads B and C having a ring shape, and the sub-moving bodies 26 and 27 are allowed to synchronously approach and separate with respect to the main moving body 23 by rotating a screw shaft 31 having reverse screw parts 34 and 35.
