<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical writing head which can prevent operation defect caused by dusts going into the head even in high dust density environment. SOLUTION: A resin cover 11 of the optical write head is provided with a long and slender box-shaped rod lens array supporting body 12 with an opening beneath it. A refractive index distribution type rod lens array 4 is supported at the center of a base part of the supporting body 12, and a sealing portion 13 with cross section of a lip shape is provided so as to surround an outside of a leg portion of the supporting body. Material for the supporting body 12 is an engineering plastics and material for the sealing portion 13 is a plastic elastomer. The supporting body 12 and the sealing portion 13 are molded integrally at the same time.</p> |
