<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vertical direction cutter guaranteeing an invariable cutting quality. SOLUTION: The cutter consists of two relatively adjustable cutter shafts 14 and 15, each having at least one cutter 16 and 17. A portion of the cutter 16 and 17 is adjustable parallel to a cutter shaft 18 by means of a pushing spring or pressurized air, etc. A machine tool is provided which enables automatic adjustment of a tool, especially the cutter 16 with a spring blade 21, by setting appropriate tension. This not only achieves reliable contact between the pair of cutters 16 and 17 but also enables a machine to be easily and quickly prepared, particularly for tool replacement.</p> |
