PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a filter from peeling off and deforming by suppressing vibration of the center part of the filter caused by ultrasonic waves when an upper joint member and a lower joint member which form an ink flowing passage are to be joined by ultrasonic welding. SOLUTION: In a recording head 1, a lower joint member JB1 is provided with a ring-shaped wall JB1b which supports a periphery of a second filter IF and a projecting part JS2 which can contact with about a center part of a second filter IF when an ink flowing passage is to be formed between an upper joint member JB2 and a lower joint member JB1. The upper joint member JB2 is provided with a projecting part JS2 facing the part. The upper joint member JB2 and the lower joint member JB1 are welded by ultrasonic waves after the second filter IF is fixed on the ring-shaped wall JB1b by heat welding. The vibration of the second filter IF is suppressed by the projecting parts JS2a, JS2b at the time ultrasonic welding.
