PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize a vibration generated on a main shaft head even if an oscillation imparted to a main shaft is made to a high speed in a honing machine. SOLUTION: In the honing machine, a main spindle 10 in which a grinding wheel T is mounted on a tip end and which is rotated and driven is relatively advanced/retreated and a processing hole of a work is subjected to a honing processing. A weight 66 is installed on a main spindle head 75 movably in an axis direction of the main spindle. An oscillation is imparted to the main spindle 10 and an oscillation of which a phase is deviated from the oscillation by 180 deg. and of which a moving direction is opposite is imparted to the weight 66.
