PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a cockling or curl of a recording paper by controlling a quantity of an ink drop to be ejected on the recording paper. SOLUTION: An ink jet recorder for ejecting ink on a recording medium for recording comprises an image density converter 102 for converting the density of inputted multiple-value image data 101, a binarization part 104 for binarizing the converted image data to create recording data corresponding to an ejection of ink, a data addition part 106 figuring out the quantity of ink to be ejected on one page of the recording medium from the recording data, a comparator 107 for comparing data related to the quantity of ink with a threshold value 108, and a selection part 109 for selecting a combination of parameters for density conversion from a parameter table 110 such that the data related to the quantity of ink becomes the threshold value or smaller. |
