PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice cooker which can uniformly obtain delicious rice by heating the inner cooker uniformly, whose heat transfer efficiency of the inner cooker is good even during warmth-keeping time, and which can save energy. SOLUTION: The inner cooker 2 which is detachably installed in a body 1, has a winged cooker shape, a supporting brim part 9 at the side of the outer circumference a little lower from its top end, and a supporting brim part heating part 7 which is formed integrally with a resistance wire heater 7a at the upper part of the body 1. When the inner cooker 2 is installed into the body 1, the supporting brim part 9 contacts the supporting brim part heating part 7. A main heating part 6 which heats the bottom is formed so that the current of the main heating part 6 and the supporting brim part heating part 7 are controlled according to the rice cooking, warmth keeping process or the like at a control part 8.
